Challenges for Wind Ensemble and Jazztecs begin Dec. 1st and continue until Dec. 19th. All challenges will take place in the band room office after school. The rules for challenges are posted on the call board which is outside my office.
NOTICE THAT I SAID OUTSIDE MY OFFICE!!!!  Not in my office, on my desk, not at the podium, not while we are rehearsing.  Read the rules and come prepared.

Personal:

Born January 29, 1958, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Tim married the former Miss. Deborah E. Marquette on September 18, 1982 in Los Angeles, Ca.  They have three children - Elizabeth, Benjamin, and Kathryn.

Education:

  • Graduated from HS - Riverside Polytechnic High School 1976

  • Graduated from California State University San Bernardino - 1980, Bachelors Degree in Music

  • Received from California State University San Bernardino - 1985, Masters Degree in Secondary Music Education

  • Years of Teaching - 26 years in the Barstow Unified School District, 21 years with Barstow Community College

Credentials:

  • State of California Single Subject Teaching Credential - Music

  • Lifetime Teacher Credential from the California Community Colleges

  • Personal Awards:

  • Barstow High School Teacher of the Year - 1997

  • Barstow High School Teacher of the Year - 2006

  • BUSD Teacher of the Year - 2006

  • Recognized by the University of Redlands with the Distinguished Teacher Award - May 2007
